Charity of the Year 2022

This year we kick-started our new initiative, Charity of the Year. The scheme aims to provide digital support to local charities, whose marketing budget is usually restricted by limited resources.

We were delighted by the amount of applications submitted, but it further emphasised the need for additional support by not-for-profits. So, it was a difficult decision selecting the winner of Charity of the Year 2022, but as a team we selected Lucy Air Ambulance for Children.

What We’ve Been Doing 

Over the course of this year we have been working closely with the Lucy AAC team, providing ongoing Google Ads support and digital marketing training sessions. At the start of our journey, we helped them set up a grant account to access $10,000 of ad spend to use towards search ads.

Then, each month we have monitored our newly created campaigns, and made optimisations to drive performance. This included adding new ads throughout the year, refreshing ad copy, undertaking keyword research to keep up with trends, and much more!

We found this to be a successful way of attracting new website visitors, particularly for their fundraising events, which Lucy AAC heavily relies on to raise money. This enables them to provide vital care to more critically ill children, which is the charity’s ultimate goal.
