Charity of the Year 2022

Lucy Air Ambulance For Children

The time has come to announce the winner of our Charity of the Year Scheme 2022.

At the end of 2021 we launched our inaugural Charity of the Year scheme.

We were delighted to receive applications from a wide range of charities across family support and mental health.

Our partnerships with our charity clients was a strong motivation for starting the scheme as we recognised the difficulties charities face when trying to secure funding for their projects.

There was a great selection of charities to choose from, all with incredible values and project ideas

And so we are happy to announce the successful charity is…

Lucy Air Ambulance for Children!

What they do

Charity of the Year Lucy Air Ambulance for Children (Lucy AAC) is the only charity in the UK that provides transfer to hospital by aeroplane, ensuring that children receive the specialist care and treatment they need, no matter where they are.

With these transfers they:

  • Provide children access to life-saving specialist care and surgery, including organ transplants
  • Enable premature babies to be moved in their incubator to receive neonatal care close to home
  • Enable children who are nearing end of life to be taken to a hospital/hospice closer to home
  • Help to reunite families and improve parent’s mental health

Here is what LucyACC had to say:

“We’re absolutely delighted the team at Atelier Studios have chosen Lucy Air Ambulance for Children as their Charity of the Year partner for 2022! We’re so excited to welcome the team to our Lucy Family and work together to help raise awareness of our unique and life-changing air ambulance service.”

– Carla Yarrow, Corporate Partnerships Manager

We will update you on the projects we will be working on with Lucy AAC, but in the meantime please find out more about the incredible work they do on their website.

How We’ll Be Helping Lucy Air Ambulance For Children

As part of the scheme we’re going to help Lucy AAC bolster their social media presence with a strong focus around Air Ambulance week. We’ll use our expertise to get their message and brand in front of a wider more engaged audience to build additional support for them and their service.

We’ll provide in depth digital marketing training sessions covering social media marketing, Google Analytics and using Google Ads.

And on top of this we’ll get them signed up to the Google Ads Charity Grant and develop some high quality imagery to use across their social channels.
