Design & Visual Identity
The site needed to reflect the quirkiness and personality of the products on offer. We selected bold, unusual typography to give the brand a standout feel, paired with large hero banners that showcased the custom designs and patterns available to customers. The visual approach broke away from the look of traditional personalisation websites, positioning It’s Myne as something different from the outset.
Product Personalisation Engine
We built a custom design tool that allowed customers to select a base product and personalise it completely. The tool included a library of designs, fonts, clip art and quotes for inspiration, alongside the ability to upload their own images. Cropping and resizing tools gave customers full control over their layout, while tooltips guided them through the process at every step. A preview function was included so customers could review their design before committing, ensuring the final output matched their expectations.
Print-Ready Output & Ecommerce Functionality
All customer artwork needed to be output at exact template sizes across multiple file formats including PDF, ready for It’s Myne to print directly. Uploaded assets and final designs were made available for download within the order view. Pricing was configured to adjust dynamically based on quantity and print quality -standard or enhanced -while shipping rules handled weight-based cost calculations with automatic international pricing for orders outside the UK. Gift delivery to alternate recipients was also built in.
SEO, Tracking & Launch Strategy
Before launch, we carried out a full phase of onsite optimisation to ensure the site could be properly indexed by Google. Each product page was individually optimised to compete in the personalised products space, and a Google Merchant product feed was created to support shopping campaigns from day one. Tag Manager was used to implement ecommerce and sales funnel tracking throughout the site, with behavioural tracking capturing scroll depth, time on site and form interactions – giving It’s Myne full visibility of how customers were engaging with the site and where revenue was coming from.
